RPGMakerVX is the third in a series of PC Role Playing Game making programs, created by Enterbrain, although the series was started by ASCII, making VX the fifth. Being the successor of RPGMakerXP, VX is the most user-friendly program of the series due to the reintroduction of the "Quick Event Creation" and "Generate Dungeon" functions as well as it's usage of RGSS2 (a simpler version of the RGSS programming language). It allows the users to design characters, classes, enemies, skills, maps, items and anything they need to create their RPGs. RPGMakerVX comes with a Run Time Package (or RTP), filled with standard Graphic and Audio resources, that can be used in the game’s development.
